RosterLive ranks 8th in Deloitte Technology Fast 50

RosterLive has been honoured as one of the top ten fastest growing technology companies in Australia, as Deliotte released its annual Fast 50 list last month. The list, now in its ninth year, ranks the 50 fastest growing technology companies based on revenue over the previous three financial years.

RosterLive enjoyed growth of 419 percent from 2007 to 2009, and was honoured with not only making the list, but recording a top ten position in its first appearance.

The list includes related industry sectors such as communications/networking, software, semiconductors, components and electronics, biotech, pharmaceutical and medical equipment, Internet, and computers and peripherals.

This year’s addition was the first since the impact of the global financial meltdown, and highlighted those companies who have been able to excel, despite challenging economic conditions.

Deloitte’s project leader for the Fast 50 program, Joshua Tanchel, said “This year’s Deloitte Technology Fast 50 is a celebration of companies who have faced the challenge of difficult economic conditions and triumphed. Resilience in the face of what, for some companies, was an unprecedented period of disruption and uncertainty is inspiring.”

RosterLive makes BRW’s Top 100 Australian Web 2.0 Applications

Under the heading “THE NEW WEB REVOLUTION” the latest edition of the BRW has released a list of Australia’s TOP 100 Web 2.0 Applications. RosterLive is the only workforce management solution to make the list. “Where much of technology is a commodity, web 2.0 tools can be a real differentiator, supporting more efficient processes and effective outcomes” said Future Exploration Network chairman Ross Dawson – who’s company did the research for the article.

Some of the reasons that RosterLive is featured are due to its rich set of functionality, useability, installed client base and support that RosterLive offers its clients.
RosterLive is setting the standard for organisations looking for a workforce management application which simplifies the rostering, attendance, pay rule calculation process and in most cases automating their complete attendance processes.

To be included on the list, RosterLive had to fit the following scope:
• Applications (not content only)
• Rich web-based interface (not mobile only)
• Create value from participation
• Represent genuine innovation
• Significantly Australian

Each application was assessed on the following criteria, with a weighted points system determined the final ranking:

• Revenue and viability
• Users
• International success
• Business value
• Innovation
• Web 2.0 features

RosterLive Automates Workforce Management & Closes the Technology Gap for Aged Care

Scalabrini Village (650 beds), St Basil’s Homes (400 beds), Twilight Aged Care (140 beds) and Advantaged Care (140 beds) are the latest Aged Care clients to choose the RosterLive People Management Solution to help operate their businesses.

They all required a sophisticated rostering and time & attendance solution to help them operate their retirement living and aged care businesses.

There are many reasons why they have chosen to implement RosterLive which include the benefits of a Software as a Service (SaaS) delivery model. RosterLive utilises the latest technology to deliver a scalable, reliable and robust solution to the Aged Care industry. Implementations are fast as there is no software to install and users are easily trained as RosterLive has a familiar, intuitive desktop.

The following have been identified as business benefits of the projects:

  1.  One integrated system providing centralised data
  2.  End to end people management with automated work flows
  3.  Automatic award interpretation for complex caring and nurse awards
  4.  Scalable to grow with their business needs
  5.  Payroll integration
  6.  Web based so no local software to install
  7.  Fully integrated time capture devices – biometric & swipe card
  8.  All data maintained and updated in the system so no more lost or missing data
  9.  Improved efficiency, automated business processes and the elimination of errors
  10.  In depth day to day and overview management reporting across locations / hostels

RosterLive believes that organisations should be able to depend on solutions they implement without having the burden of added infrastructure and support requirements that often accompany such implementations. As such, we made the critical decision to develop a solution that requires nothing more than a web-browser on the client site.
