You will be working in our Development Team and your role focus will be the enhancement of application and database performance of the RosterLive system.
Responsibilities:
- Make recommendations to continuously improve the application and database performance, scalability and maintainability of the RosterLive system
- Ongoing maintenance and development of the RosterLive system
Required Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- At least 5 years solid development experience with .NET, with a focus on web application development
- Development best practices
- Object oriented design and development
- Test driven development
- Design patterns

- Database design
- Exposure to Agile development methodology
- Experience in applications deployed across a multi server environment
- Experience in measuring, testing and tuning application performance
- Experience in measuring, testing and tuning database performance
- Experience in using performance measuring, testing and tuning tools
Desirable:
- Development experience with .NET
- WinForm application development
- Web Services / WCF
- SQL Reporting Services
For this role we are looking for someone who has worked with enterprise size applications and speaks clearly and is easily understood. Your role will be to contribute to the development of the RosterLive application from an experience point of view and provide direction from your experience for the development. Ideally you are someone who has worked in large organizations and now wants to be part of taking RosterLive to the next level by further developing our enterprise size application. Some organizations you may have worked for in the past may include Fairfax websites, Nine MSN, Fox Sports or any organisation providing a high-volume and database-intensive web application.
